Chris-Craft 20′ Custom Runabout is a 1947 model, hull number R-20-156. It is a model 47-10 with its original 130hp M engine #12704. It was delivered new to a Mr. Russell Nelson through H.G. McKinney & Co in Wilmington, California. It was shipped out of the Algonac, MI factory on November 26, 1946.
As you have seen, the hull itself is in rough shape, but it is very complete. Most, if not all of the hardware is included, and some has been freshly chromed. This includes the windshield, ventilators, interior hardware, underwater hardware, step pad frames, hatch trim, lifting rings, etc. The seat bottoms and backs have been upholstered to Concours specs with Torch red leather and vinyl, per original specs. It includes the necessary
leather and vinyl to complete the ceiling boards and cushions.
